Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lee Sang Seok (ranked 179 p4p, 28 weight class) and Galen Dall (ranked 401 p4p, 52 weight class). Dall is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Red - Already Over. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Galen Dall!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seok throws a lazy uppercut
and Dall counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dall misses with a looping right.
Seok misses with an uppercut.
Dall appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Seok shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dall but Dall pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dall steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Seok.
Lee Sang Seok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dall uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Seok.

Good leg kick by Seok there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Seok has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dall.

Dall shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Seok gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Seok misses with a straight left.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Seok looks to score with a jab to the body but Dall is just out of range.

Seok closes the distance and clinches up with Dall, looking for a takedown. Seok pushes Dall against the cage but Dall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Seok is working away from the top position though.
Seok is stalling here. Dall is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Seok seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dall has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Dall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Seok is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dall thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Dall is looking for a kimura but Seok is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dall to get the leverage.
Seok is looking for a sweep. Dall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dall moves into full mount! Seok won't be happy about that!
Seok tries to lock up and control but Dall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Dall wants to take his opponent's back but instead Seok manages to regain half guard.

Dall seems to be working for a kimura but Seok defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seok is trying desperately to improve position.
Dall wants to take Seok's back here but Seok is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Galen Dall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Seok connects with a nice short shot to Dall's temple.

Seok working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Dall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dall.

Lee Sang Seok overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Seok wants to pass to mount but Dall is defending the position.
Dall is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Seok's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Seok's back!
Seok prevents Dall from getting a body triangle.

Dall is persistently looking for the submission but Seok is defending it well.
Dall doesn't have the hooks in and Seok manages to turn into his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dall has his feet on Seok's thighs here. He's pushed Seok off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Seok screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

A less than humble Galen Dall misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
