Charles pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Charles had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Brown defends it easily.
Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Charles has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Charles's legs - danger averted.
Charles escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Charles is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well.
Charles pushes a forearm under Brown's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Brown is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
