Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Pearson (ranked 532 p4p, 20 weight class) and Yaniv Schulmann (ranked 608 p4p, 22 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pearson. That's going to slow Schulmann down.
Pearson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Schulmann has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pearson finds it's way round the side to connect with Schulmann's head.
Schulmann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Schulmann crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pearson - the referee stops the clock and Schulmann gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pearson. Schulmann manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Schulmann is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pearson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
