Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Pearson (ranked 3133 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casper Abbot (ranked 5490 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Casper Abbot was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Pearson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Casper Abbot! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbot swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pearson counters with a good, hard body kick but Abbot shrugs it off. Abbot throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pearson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Abbot misses with a hook
and Pearson counters with an inside leg kick. Abbot looks winded! Pearson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Abbot doesn't seem bothered though. Pearson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pearson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pearson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Pearson lands a leg kick that knocks Abbot off balance momentarily. Abbot misses with a combination
and Pearson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Pearson misses with a body shot.
Pearson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Abbot sprawling to the canvas! Abbot rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pearson finish him?!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Abbot gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Pearson gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Abbot is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Pearson! During a confident post fight interview, James Pearson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
