Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Clay (ranked 871 p4p, 33 weight class) and Michael Paine (ranked 1093 p4p, 44 weight class). Clay comes to the cage accompanied by Believe. Andre Clay could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael Paine's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Clay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Paine! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paine uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Clay. Paine avoids the head kick by Clay.
We've been informed that Paine has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Paine jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Paine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Paine swings widly with a right hand
and Clay connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Clay defending well as Paine loads up on a big left hand. Clay throws out a loose jab but Paine uses good head movement to avoid it. Clay tests Paine's chin there with a solid looking shot. A big left from Paine misses. Clay with a hook. Paine thuds his right hand into Clay's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Clay misses with a body kick. It seemed like Paine was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Clay misses with an uppercut
and Paine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paine punishes Clay's body with a nice straight punch. Clay lands a really nice looking cross but Paine seems unphased.
Paine bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clay's head backwards. Andre Clay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clay moves out of range of the strikes. Clay looks to throw the jab but Paine is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clay lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Paine pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Paine misses with a left hand and Clay counters with a straight right hand. Paine sizes up Clay with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Clay lands with a cross. Clay ducks under a wild hook from Paine. Paine checks a low kick from Clay. Clay scores with a jab to the body. Clay drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Clay throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Paine counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Clay is rocked! Paine drops Clay with a straight right hand, right on the button! Paine follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Paine!
