Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 2 p4p, 1 weight class) and Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 34 p4p, 2 weight class). Frankels comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dawn....Summer Solstice... kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slice! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocket Bob Frankels! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slice throws a front kick that sends Frankels stumbling back into the cage. Slice shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Donk. Slice catches Frankels right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Rocket Bob Frankels has been cut. A kick lands to the mid section there for Frankels. Frankels takes one on the button. Slice tries to land a front kick but Frankels steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A little jabbing left from Frankels on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Frankels blocks a leg kick. A shot to the body from Slice misses and Frankels counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Frankels slips under a jab from Slice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frankels ducks under a wild hook from Slice. Frankels looks for the body kick but Slice saw that one coming. Slice looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Nice body kick there by Frankels.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slice throws a hook to the side of Frankels's head but Frankels sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Slice scores with a leg kick.
Slice connects with a leg kick. Frankels looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Frankels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Frankels ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away. Frankels thuds his right hand into Slice's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Slice lands with a nice body punch. A jab lands there for Frankels. Frankels gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Slice. Frankels tries to land a leg kick but Slice saw it coming and moves away.
Frankels takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slice works the jab nicely. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frankels moves into range and connects with a jab. Slice takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Slice chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Frankels can pounce on him.
Slice tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Frankels is able to avoid easily. Slice finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Slice swings for the body but Frankels moves out of range.
Frankels appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Frankels fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slice manages to avoid it. Slice dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Frankels swings for the body but Slice moves out of range.

Frankels takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slice moves out of range as Frankels strikes. Slice throwing a counter right hand but Frankels manages to avoid it. Frankels takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Frankels stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Frankels pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Frankels cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Frankels connects with an inside leg kick. A low kick from Frankels lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Slice has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Slice and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Slice waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Frankels. Frankels appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Slice tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frankels was well out of range. Poor timing from Slice. Kimbo Slice has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rocket Bob Frankels is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Frankels swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

And that's the end of the fight! Kimbo Slice showed his dominance in that final round. Well Frankels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight is ruled a majority draw! Kimbo Slice retains his title. It's always disappointing when a championship fight ends as a draw but that's what happens when you leave the fight in the judges hands!
