Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Reznick (ranked 1168 p4p, 182 weight class) and Keiji Mutou (ranked 1893 p4p, 284 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Reznick lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Reznick cracks Mutou with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mutou's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Reznick moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Reznick comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mutou switches off momentarily and Reznick cracks him with a monster right hand! Mutou topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Reznick dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Reznick!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trevor Reznick!
Trevor Reznick decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
