Potter comes to the cage accompanied by THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT. Jack Potter had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Potter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yoshi Takano! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter throws a body shot but no joy. Potter moves out of range as Takano throws a body kick.
Potter tries to land a front kick but Takano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Potter ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Potter throws an overhand right that lands on Takano's shoulder, as Takano tries to avoid the shot. Potter moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Takano dips to his left and cracks Potter with an uppercut! Potter displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takano throws out the jab. Potter scores with a jab. Takano is looking to land body kicks. And Potter counters with a quick kick to the body but Takano blocks it. Takano scores with a punch to the head. Takano takes one to the side of the head.
Takano takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takano throws a body shot but no joy. Potter misses with a low kick. Takano throws a chopping leg kick but Potter manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Potter half committed to a counter leg kick. Potter goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter just misses with a punch to the body.
Potter scores with a shot to the body.
Takano avoids a low kick by using good footwork. And Takano responds with a good body kick, but Potter manages to step out the way in time. Potter lands the left hand. Takano misses with a hook to the body
and Potter finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Takano pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. As Takano backs away, Potter returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Takano takes a swing at Potter's ribcage but misses. Potter lands with a hook. Takano tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Potter lands a nice looking kick to the body. Takano takes a step back to recover. Takano looks winded! Takano throws a push kick but Potter slaps the foot to one side. A little feinted left hand from Potter on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Potter closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Takano! Potter dives in looking to finish! Takano is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Potter! After the fight, Jack Potter was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
