Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Clive Grissom (ranked 5176 p4p, 578 weight class) and Robert Kortig (ranked 5166 p4p, 576 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clive Grissom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Kortig !
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grissom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kortig .
Grissom throws a poor cross that misses
letting Kortig counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheers as Grissom lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kortig doesn't seem phased though.
Kortig closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Grissom waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kortig .
Kortig now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Grissom throws the left hand but Kortig avoids the punch easily.
Kortig looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Grissom takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Grissom looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Grissom.
Kortig connects with the punch.
Grissom throws a big shot that misses.
A slow jab from Grissom misses its intended target.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grissom takes one to the chin there.
Grissom misses with a looping left.
A swing and a miss from Grissom.
Grissom slips a jab and a cross from Kortig .
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grissom scores with a punch to the head.
Grissom pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kortig swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kortig looks to score with a jab to the body but Grissom is just out of range.
Grissom on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A left lands for Grissom.
Kortig is rocked!
Grissom throws the left hand but Kortig avoids the punch easily.
Kortig cracks Grissom with an open hand slap.
Grissom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Grissom circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kortig to the canvas! Kortig doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Grissom keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Clive Grissom!
A relieved looking Clive Grissom thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
