Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 362 p4p, 45 weight class) and Link Gaetz (ranked 145 p4p, 22 weight class). Dimitrov comes to the cage accompanied by Drake - Energy. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitrov closes the distance looking to clinch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Dimitrov throws a head kick that half lands.
Gaetz tries to move into range but Dimitrov moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Gaetz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gaetz misses with a body kick.
As Gaetz looks to move away, Dimitrov throws a big counter combo but Gaetz just gets out of the way.

It looks like Daniel Dimitrov has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Dimitrov.
Gaetz looks like he wants to counter punch here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dimitrov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gaetz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gaetz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dimitrov throws out the jab.
Gaetz tries a quick counter leg kick but Dimitrov is wise to it.

Dimitrov drops Gaetz with a beautiful combination! Gaetz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dimitrov is looking for the KO!

It looks like Link Gaetz has been cut.
Daniel Dimitrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dimitrov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gaetz is still on wobbly legs! Can Dimitrov finish him?
Gaetz throws a lazy right hand but Dimitrov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gaetz seems to have recovered his senses.
Dimitrov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Dimitrov cracks Gaetz with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dimitrov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gaetz to stand back up!

Gaetz moves out of range of the body kick from Dimitrov.
Gaetz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Gaetz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gaetz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dimitrov manages to avoid it.
Dimitrov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dimitrov dips to his left and cracks Gaetz with an uppercut!
Dimitrov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dimitrov tries to move into range but Gaetz moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Gaetz counters with a stiff right hand.

and Gaetz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Gaetz keeps Dimitrov at a distance using the push kick.
Dimitrov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dimitrov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gaetz moves away.

and Gaetz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Daniel Dimitrov's cut is getting worse.
A slapping leg kick lands for Gaetz.
Oh Dimitrov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dimitrov switches off momentarily and Gaetz cracks him with a monster right hand! Dimitrov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Gaetz dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Gaetz!
