Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Korean Zombie (ranked 525 p4p, 58 weight class) and Gil Jacobson (ranked 568 p4p, 61 weight class). Zombie's entrance music is ZOMBIE. A fine choice. On his way into the cage it seems that Korean Zombie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Korean Zombie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie doesn't manage to clinch there - Jacobson circles away.
Jacobson throws a body kick that misses.
We've been informed that Jacobson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Zombie throws a leg kick

and Jacobson counters with a crisp one two that drops Zombie! Jacobson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Zombie to his feet! Zombie is in big trouble!

Zombie is rocked!
We've been hearing reports that Zombie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Zombie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oh Zombie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zombie is defended easily by Jacobson.
Zombie seems to have got his legs back now.
Jacobson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jacobson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Jacobson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Zombie moves out of range of the body kick from Jacobson.

Zombie moves in looking to clinch but Jacobson pushes him off.

Jacobson flicks out a counter leg kick but Zombie steps away.
Zombie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Zombie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jacobson.

The crowd cheers as Zombie lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jacobson doesn't seem phased though.
Korean Zombie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacobson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zombies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zombie feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jacobson's calf.
Zombie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Zombie turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Zombie pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Zombie throws a right hand that Jacobson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jacobson also avoids with ease.
Jacobson connects with a looping right hand.
Gil Jacobson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Jacobson lands a left and a right that send Zombie crashing to the mat, dazed. Jacobson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
