Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tytus Aleksy (ranked 826 p4p, 98 weight class) and Roberto Duranto (ranked 571 p4p, 66 weight class). Roberto Duranto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tytus Aleksy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tytus Aleksy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Roberto Duranto!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duranto takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A slow jab from Aleksy misses its intended target.
Duranto connects with a solid leg kick.
Aleksy throws a hook to the side of Duranto's head but Duranto sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Duranto lands a nice shot that snaps Aleksy's head back.
Aleksy lands with an uppercut that bounces Duranto off the cage and back into range.
Aleksy gets a clinch.
Duranto pushes Aleksy back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Duranto tries to throw a body punch but Aleksy avoids it by throwing Duranto back against the cage.
Aleksy breaks from the clinch.
Duranto ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Duranto lands a nice hook to Aleksy's body. Aleksy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice uppercut lands for Duranto. That snapped Aleksy's head back.
Tytus Aleksy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duranto plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Duranto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Aleksy.
A head kick from Duranto lands but Aleksy takes it in his stride.
Duranto connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Aleksy momentarily.
Duranto throws a sloppy head kick and Aleksy moves out of range easily.
Aleksy moves in looking to clinch but Duranto pushes him off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Duranto! But no joy.
Aleksy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Aleksy cracks Duranto with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aleksy misses with a hook.
Duranto throws a sloppy head kick and Aleksy moves out of range easily.
Aleksy throws out a loose jab but Duranto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Duranto ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Duranto feints and then cracks Aleksy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Aleksy down.
Duranto lands a big head kick that sends Aleksy tumbling to the mat! Duranto takes a step backwards and waves Aleksy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Aleksy is rocked!
Aleksy gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Duranto gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Aleksy is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roberto Duranto!
Roberto Duranto decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
