Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Friman (ranked 702 p4p, 31 weight class) and Yung Hung Dong (ranked 725 p4p, 35 weight class). Yung Hung Dong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oskar Friman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yung Hung Dong! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Friman misses the jab. Dong misses with a body kick. Friman tries to clinch but Dong is having none of it. Friman connects with a body shot that sends Dong's belly button to the back. Friman moves out of range of the body kick. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dong. Dong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Friman. Dong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Friman.
Friman throws a body punch but Dong moves out of range. Dong fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Friman manages to avoid it. Friman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Dong looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Friman throws a body punch but Dong moves out of range. Dong looks like he wants to counter punch here. Friman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Friman scores with a jab to the jaw. Friman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dong misses with a hook to the body
and Friman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dong moves in looking to clinch but Friman pushes him off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dong on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Friman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dong defends well and Friman ends up having to push Dong into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Friman throws a shot to the body.
Friman with a jab. Friman stuns Dong with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Dong throws a leg kick but Friman sees it coming and moves out of range. Friman is looking to wear down Dong with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Dong misses with a kick to the body and Friman counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Dong! Friman trying to control the action but Dong is working from the bottom. Dong tries to bench press Friman off him but Friman keeps the position. Dong manages to work his way to half guard, despite Friman's best efforts. Friman trying to control from half guard but Dong is working away. Dong is looking to control Friman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dong avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Friman wants to take a breather but Dong is having none of it. Friman working the head and body with strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice strikes from Friman there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dong actively working from the bottom here. Friman throws a strike but Dong avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Dong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Friman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Friman forces his way into half guard. Friman scoring with strikes to the body and head. Friman winds up and cracks Dong with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dong looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Friman scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dong is staying active underneath Friman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dong is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Friman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Friman's back! Our spies down at at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys inform us that Dong has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Friman rolls, trying to escape but Dong keeps control of the position.
Dong is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Friman taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Dong.
