Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nobunaga Tanaka (ranked 527 p4p, 22 weight class) and Henry The Crab (ranked 1495 p4p, 75 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanaka feints and then cracks The Crab's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Crab down.

The Crab got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tanaka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Crab has managed to get both his arms back between Tanaka's legs - danger averted.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tanaka is on top in guard.

Tanaka passes The Crab's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tanaka slips a nice elbow through The Crab's hands, connecting with The Crab's forehead.
Tanaka winds up and cracks The Crab with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The Crab tries to kick Tanaka off but Tanaka keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from The Crab enables Tanaka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. The Crab manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tanaka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent The Crab stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tanaka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. The Crab sprawls well initially but Tanaka persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tanaka has both hooks in and is working for a choke. The Crab is in real trouble here. Tanaka gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, The Crab is tapping out! Tanaka wins by rear naked choke!
