Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gary Day (ranked 2637 p4p, 304 weight class) and Kazushi Mizushima (ranked 2847 p4p, 322 weight class). Day comes to the cage accompanied by Last minute - Great day to choke you out. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kazushi Mizushima!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Mizushima throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Day tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mizushima is in Day's guard.
Mizushima is working Day over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mizushima working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
