Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gaultier Girard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pat Yaj!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj throws a body kick that misses.
Girard misses with a wild body shot.
We've been told by Girard's head coaches at Mary Gracies Jiu Jitsu that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Girard walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Yaj checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Yaj looks to land a left hand but Girard moved out of range nicely.
Yaj misses with a head kick.
Girard throws a half hearted mid kick.
Girard lands with a nice body kick.
Yaj misses the jab.

Girard throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yaj sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Girard cracks Yaj with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Girard has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Yaj to stand back up!

Yaj is still on wobbly legs! Can Girard finish him?

Girard on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yaj. Yaj obviously looking to wear him down.
Girard feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Yaj's calf.

Girard walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Yaj seems to have recovered his senses.

enabling Yaj to counter with a crisp jab.
Girard throws a body shot but no joy.

Girard sends Yaj crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Girard is motioning to the referee to let Yaj up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Nice uppercut there from Yaj.
Girard looks for the body kick but Yaj saw that one coming.
A little jabbing left from Yaj on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Yaj switches off momentarily and Girard cracks him with a monster right hand! Yaj topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Girard dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Girard!

A less than humble Gaultier Girard misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
