Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iker Ramirez (ranked 154 p4p, 18 weight class) and Joseph OByrne (ranked 355 p4p, 41 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Iker Ramirez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joseph OByrne! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramirez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Ramirez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ramirez avoids a lazy jab quite easily. OByrne throws a leg kick and OByrne takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Joseph OByrne has been cut. A bone on bone clash there as OByrne blocks the leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by OByrne!
OByrne moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. OByrne throws a nice inside leg kick. Ramirez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as OByrne throws out the jab. OByrne lands a jab to Ramirez's midsection. OByrne connects with a leg kick. Ramirez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Joseph OByrne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramirez throws a poor cross that misses
and OByrne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. OByrne throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Ramirez is looking to counter punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ramirez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. OByrne motions for Ramirez to come forward. OByrne throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. OByrne bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ramirez's head backwards. A good leg kick by OByrne. OByrne pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ramirez is out of range and OByrne settles back down. Ramirez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. OByrne misses with a leg kick enabling Ramirez to counter with a crisp jab. Ramirez showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from OByrne.
Nice defenses there by OByrne. A low kick from OByrne is predictable there and Ramirez counters with a low kick, right behind OByrne 's knee. Ramirez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ramirez ducks under a wild hook from OByrne. OByrne throws a jab when Ramirez was well out of range. Ramirez sizes up OByrne with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. OByrne listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. OByrne takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This has been an exciting period of action! OByrne throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. OByrne throws a body kick that misses. Ramirez throws a big counter combination but OByrne scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. OByrne throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ramirez on the side of the head. Ramirez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
OByrne fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. OByrne takes a swing at Ramirez's ribcage but misses. Ramirez checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. It looked like Ramirez was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Ramirez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little jabbing left from OByrne on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ramirez fakes a jab and throws a low kick but OByrne checks it well. Ramirez throws a nice inside leg kick. Ramirez tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. OByrne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ramirez moves out of range of the strikes. Ramirez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. OByrne throws a leg kick and Ramirez counters with a huge head kick that drops OByrne! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iker Ramirez! In his post fight interview, Iker Ramirez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
