Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Balthazar Theron (ranked 23761 p4p, 463 weight class) and King Naresuan (ranked 7054 p4p, 433 weight class). Theron kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Living on a Prayer. Balthazar Theron has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naresuan gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Theron cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Theron on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Theron tries to close the distance and clinch but Naresuan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Naresuan throws a sloppy head kick
and Theron counters with a nice body shot.
A chopping leg kick lands by Naresuan.
Naresuan misses with a straight left.
Theron gets a clinch.
Theron misses with an elbow strike.

Theron will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Theron is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Theron rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Naresuan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Naresuan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Naresuan throws a head kick that Theron semi-blocks.
Naresuan clobbers Theron with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Naresuan throws a head kick but Theron moves out of range.
Theron takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Naresuan. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Naresuan throws a leg kick which misses Theron's front leg but catches the back leg as Theron tries to avoid it.

and Naresuan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Naresuan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Naresuan.

King Naresuan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Theron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Naresuan feints and then cracks Theron's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Theron down.

Naresuan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Theron has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Good leg kick by Naresuan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Theron takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Naresuan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
King Naresuan seems to be getting the better of the standup.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Naresuan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Theron manages to avoid it.
Theron stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Naresuan.

King Naresuan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Naresuan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
