Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kylar Sensei (ranked 1057 p4p, 63 weight class) and Gale Snoats (ranked 1079 p4p, 64 weight class). Gale Snoats has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kylar Sensei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gale Snoats! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snoats wants to slow Sensei down by chopping away at his legs. A swing and a miss from Snoats. A big right from Snoats misses. Snoats connects with an inside leg kick. Snoats keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sensei. Sensei has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Valhalla MMA in the buildup to the fight. Sensei scores with a punch to the head. Snoats goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sensei digs a good body shot into Snoats's ribs. Snoats avoids the body shot from Sensei.
Sensei throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Snoats connects with an inside leg kick. Sensei looks to land a right hand but Snoats moved out of range. Snoats uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sensei. Snoats scores with a punch to the head. A slapping body kick lands there for Snoats. Nice defenses there by Snoats. Snoats jabbing away but nothing is landing. This has been an exciting period of action! Snoats throws the kick towards the body but Sensei avoids it. Sensei swings for the body but Snoats moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sensei. Snoats does a little dance to reset his feet. Snoats wants to counter the offense by Sensei and move into the clinch position. Sensei takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sensei goes for a double leg but Snoats avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Snoats continues to drive forward. Snoats connects with a leg kick. Sensei looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Sensei fails with a takedown attempt. Sensei walks into a stiff left hand from Snoats. Sensei throws a hook but Snoats blocks it. Snoats cracks Sensei with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Sensei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sensei shoots in looking for a takedown. Snoats tries to sprawl out of it but Sensei keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snoats manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Snoats throws out a counter right but Sensei avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kylar Sensei. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sensei just misses with a punch to the body.
Snoats lands with a straight right. Sensei didn't see that one coming. Gale Snoats is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sensei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Snoats to score with a decent uppercut. Snoats takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Snoats fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sensei. Sensei lands with a good body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A big left from Snoats misses. A counter left hand to the body from Sensei misses its target. An inside leg kick lands from Snoats. Gale Snoats seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snoats gets caught flat footed, as Sensei shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sensei wants to control from the top but Snoats keeps moving. Snoats managing to control the position. Snoats preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Snoats has his hands on Sensei's head, controlling the position. Sensei is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sensei has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sensei makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Sensei postures up and lands a big shot to Snoats's brow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sensei is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sensei trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sensei looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Sensei throws a big elbow that misses. Sensei is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sensei keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Snoats's head. Sensei trying to control but Snoats is working from the bottom. Snoats trying to keep a closed guard but Sensei is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sensei stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snoats swivels though and keeps the full guard. Snoats managing to control the position. Sensei postures up.

Snoats is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sensei passes easily into side control. Nice work. Sensei tries for a kimura but Snoats is defending well. Snoats is trying to control Sensei's posture but Sensei avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kylar Sensei will probably get the nod. That's time! Sensei's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Snoats scores with a decent looking hook. Sensei takes one to the chin there. Snoats moves away from the strike by Sensei. Snoats comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sensei scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sensei throws an elbow but Snoats slips to the side and avoids it well. Snoats wants to control but Sensei postures up. Sensei trying to control the position but Snoats is working away. Snoats takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Sensei is working Snoats over with some ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sensei looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Snoats tries to get back to half guard but can't. Snoats struggling a bit here.

You can see the frustration on Snoats's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. I wouldn't like to be where Snoats is right now. Sensei wants to control but Snoats is keeping him busy. Snoats tries to improve position but can't. Snoats avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Sensei. Snoats is looking for a sweep. Snoats manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Snoats wants to pass the guard but Sensei is defending well. Sensei looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kylar Sensei overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sensei is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Snoats seems content to control. Snoats tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sensei knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sensei wants to improve his position but Snoats is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Snoats is keen to just control but Sensei is a slippery customer. Sensei is trying to get back to full guard. Snoats is trying to control. Sensei wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sensei won't allow Snoats to pass to mount. Sensei tries to roll over but Snoats keeps him under control. Sensei is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Snoats's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Snoats's back! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snoats wants to escape the position.

Kylar Sensei dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Snoats moves to the back position. You can see the frustration on Sensei's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sensei tries to escape but Snoats has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Snoats slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Snoats is figuring out what he wants to do next. Sensei wants to get back to full guard. Sensei regains full guard. Nicely done. Sensei is looking for a triangle but Snoats pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snoats stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sensei swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gale Snoats has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Snoats with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Gale Snoats comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sensei has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
