The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A solid leg kick lands there for Johnson.
Zee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Nice uppercut lands for Johnson. That snapped Zee's head back.
Johnson moves into range and connects with a jab.

Johnson sizes up Zee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Zee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut.

Johnson jabs Zee to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Zee takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Johnson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Zee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Zee shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zee. That did some damage!
