Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Moore (ranked 1780 p4p, 234 weight class) and Vince Neil (ranked 1209 p4p, 169 weight class). Moore comes to the cage accompanied by Sad Man's Tongue by Volbeat. Neil has chosen Wild Side as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Moore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vince Neil!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Neil counters with a nice uppercut.
Neil lands the left hand.
Moore misses with a straight left.
Moore avoids the body shot from Neil.
Vince Neil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Neil walks into a jab.
Moore misses with an uppercut. Neil saw that one coming.
Moore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Neil takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Moore keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Neil.
Moore misses with a hook.
Neil moves out of range of the strikes.
Neil misses with a few strikes there.
Moore half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Moore throws a hook to the side of Neil's head but Neil sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Moore uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Neil.
Moore drops down looking for a counter takedown but Neil sprawls and moves away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Neil misses with a head kick.
Moore changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Neil misses with a looping left.
Moore lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Neil ducks under a wild hook from Moore.
Neil doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Moore steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Neil.
Moore misses with a body shot.
Neil throws the left hand but Moore avoids the punch easily.
Moore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Neil looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Vince Neil is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Neil moves out of range as Moore strikes.

Neil throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Moore throws a jab when Neil was well out of range.
Neil throws a body punch but Moore moves out of range.
Moore appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Neil ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Neil displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Moore throws out the jab.
Neil throws a big shot that misses.
Moore fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Neil looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Moore looks to throw the jab but Neil is out of range.
Neil bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Moore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Neil jabs Moore right on the nose. Moore blinks but takes it well.
Moore uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Neil.
A big left from Moore misses.
Moore takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A looping hook to the body misses from Neil. Moore does a little dance to reset his feet.
Neil lands a nice shot to the body.
Moore throws a hook to the side of Neil's head but Neil sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Moore fails with a takedown attempt.
Neil scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Moore rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Neil counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


Moore is rocked!
Neil misses with a head kick.
Oh Moore is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Neil pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Moore seems to have got his legs back now.
Moore blocks a head kick by Neil.
Neil misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moore.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moore throws a hook but Neil blocks it.
Neil throws a head kick but Moore moves out of range.
Moore scores with a nice head shot.
Nice defenses there by Neil.
Neil pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Moore feinted with a counter takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Neil's waist but Neil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moore walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Neil checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A telegraphed right hand from Moore misses the target.
Moore throws a jab when Neil was well out of range.
Moore works the jab nicely.
Moore misses with an uppercut
and Neil counters with a stiff right hand.
Moore clobbers Neil with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Moore blocks a jab.
Moore half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Vince Neil will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Carl Moore's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Neil stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Neil wants it to stay on the feet.

Moore looks to score with a jab to the body but Neil is just out of range.
Neil unleashes a big counter combination but Moore bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Neil throws a body punch but Moore moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Neil throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Neil walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Neil's waist but Neil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore swings widly with a right hand
and Neil counters with a series of strikes. Moore will be more careful next time no doubt.
Moore throws a leg kick but Neil sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Neil throws a powerful right kick. Moore tried to block low but the kick was high! Moore was taken right off of his feet! Neil jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vince Neil!
A very excited looking Vince Neil made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Carl Moore spoke after the fight, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
