Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nobu Sanada (ranked 908 p4p, 115 weight class) and Morrison Lee (ranked 510 p4p, 68 weight class). Lee has chosen The Pretender as his entrance music. Morrison Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanada misses with a hook
and Lee counters with a straight right hand.
Lee throws a leg kick which misses Sanada's front leg but catches the back leg as Sanada tries to avoid it.

and Sanada counters with a stiff right hand.
Morrison Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanada misses with a looping right.
Lee throws a body punch but Sanada moves out of range.
A jab from Lee finds it's way through Sanada's defenses.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lee has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Sanada tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Sanada.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Lee drops back looking for a leg! Sanada is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sanada manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Sanada's guard.
Lee is fighting to break Sanada's control of his arms but Sanada is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sanada knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sanada is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Morrison Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Morrison Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
