Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Midick Aiken (ranked 648 p4p, 72 weight class) and Peter Manuel (ranked 1122 p4p, 132 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Midick Aiken! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Manuel! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Manuel finds it's target. Manuel lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Manuel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Manuel thuds his right hand into Aiken's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Aiken moves away from the strike by Manuel. Aiken was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Aiken chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Manuel can pounce on him.
Aiken misses with a body shot.
We've been told by Aiken's head coaches at Little Lebowski Urban Achievers Gymnasium that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nice body kick from Manuel. Manuel throws a hook but Aiken avoids it easily. Aiken swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Manuel tests Aiken's chin there with a solid looking shot. A combination from Manuel does no damage. A little feinted left hand from Aiken on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Aiken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manuel was well out of range. Poor timing from Aiken. Aiken jabbing away but nothing is landing. Manuel lands a glancing blow to the side of Aiken's head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Manuel digs a good body shot into Aiken's ribs. Manuel looks to throw the jab but Aiken is out of range. Manuel lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Aiken backs up against the cage.
Manuel misses with an uppercut. Aiken saw that one coming. Peter Manuel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Manuel. Manuel scores with a kick to the body.
Manuel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Aiken is landing a low percentage of strikes. Manuel slips under a jab. Manuel throws a nice head kick!
Aiken's jab looks to have found its range, popping Manuel under the eye. Aiken ducks under a wild hook from Manuel. Manuel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Good leg kick by Manuel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sloppy strikes from Manuel. Those never looked like landing. A bone on bone clash there as Aiken blocks the leg kick.
Midick Aiken is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aiken misses with a leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Manuel.
A combination from Manuel does no damage. A counter left hand to the body from Aiken misses its target. The fighters circling - Manuel throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Manuel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Aiken dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manuel misses with an uppercut. Aiken saw that one coming. Manuel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Aiken's waist but Aiken gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manuel off to one side. Aiken avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A big left from Manuel misses. An attempted straight right counter from Aiken misses the target. Manuel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Manuel slips under a jab. Aiken throws a jab when Manuel was well out of range. Aiken throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Manuel lands a nice shot that snaps Aiken's head back.
Manuel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Manuel misses with a looping left. A counter left hand to the body from Aiken misses its target. Manuel lands a jab-cross combination. Manuel takes a swing at Aiken's ribcage but misses. Aiken swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Manuel misses with a takedown and Aiken cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Manuel scores with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manuel with a poor takedown and Aiken cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Midick Aiken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Manuel. Manuel pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Aiken pushes Manuel away with a front kick. Manuel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Manuel tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Manuel misses with a body shot
and Aiken cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Manuel is rocked! Manuel throws a head kick but Aiken moves out of range.
Aiken is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Manuel is still on wobbly legs! Can Aiken finish him? A combination from Manuel does no damage. Aiken connects with a body shot that sends Manuel's belly button to the back. Manuel looks winded! Aiken lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Manuel - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Aiken!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Midick Aiken! An out of breath Midick Aiken thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
