Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Full Time Panda (ranked 469 p4p, 23 weight class) and Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 146 p4p, 8 weight class). Takeishi has chosen Kabuki Gomen-Jyo as his entrance music. Mitsugu Takeishi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Full Time Panda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mitsugu Takeishi! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panda goes for a double leg but Takeishi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Takeishi continues to drive forward. Takeishi throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The fighters circling - Takeishi throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Panda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Panda shoots in looking for a takedown but Takeishi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Panda's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Panda uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Panda shoots in for a takedown but Takeishi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Full Time Panda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Panda looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Takeishi rushes Panda and presses him up against the cage. Panda wants to take the fight to the mat but Takeishi manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Takeishi lands with a short shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short body shot lands from Takeishi as the two fighters clinch.
Panda is breathing heavily. Panda has Takeishi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Takeishi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Takeishi lands an uppercut. Takeishi content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Panda is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Takeishi pulls him back up using the underhooks. Takeishi lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takeishi lands with a light punch inside. Takeishi pressing his opponent against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeishi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pandas head. Takeishi lands a body shot in the clinch.
Takeishi effectively controlling the action here. Takeishi is working Panda over against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Takeishi lands with a short head shot on the inside. Good body shot from Takeishi.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Takeishi. Takeishi scores with an uppercut up the middle. Takeishi lands an uppercut.
It looks like Full Time Panda has been cut. Takeishi digs a right hand into Panda's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Panda's gas tank. Takeishi avoiding damage.
Takeishi lands a body punch. Takeishi dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Takeishi digs a right hand underneath Panda's ribcage. Panda let out a lung full of air as it connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeishi pushes Panda back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Takeishi lands a big right hand that drops Panda! The killer instinct kicks in and Takeishi finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Takeishi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitsugu Takeishi! Mitsugu Takeishi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
