Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Shevchenko (ranked 1213 p4p, 153 weight class) and Ara Tiotio (ranked 814 p4p, 103 weight class). Shevchenko comes to the cage accompanied by Mouth For War - Pantera. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiotio throws a hook to the side of Shevchenko's head but Shevchenko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shevchenko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tiotio swings for the body but Shevchenko moves out of range.
Tiotio has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Shevchenko has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tiotio finds it's way round the side to connect with Shevchenko's head.

Tiotio lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Tiotio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shevchenko manages to avoid it.

Tiotio drops Shevchenko onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Shevchenko is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Tiotio creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Shevchenko with a big uppercut! Shevchenko tries to clinch up but Tiotio pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Shevchenko to the mat! Shevchenko covers up and Tiotio unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
