Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ramazan Jainar (ranked 385 p4p, 48 weight class) and Kendo Hirigushi (ranked 349 p4p, 41 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ramazan Jainar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Kendo Hirigushi! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jainar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jainar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Hirigushi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Jainar is landing a low percentage of strikes. Jainar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hirigushi. Jainar throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jainar throws a hook but Hirigushi avoids it easily. Jainar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hirigushi manages to avoid it. Jainar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jainar misses with an uppercut
and Hirigushi counters with a two punch combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hirigushi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hirigushi tries to close the distance and clinch but Jainar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hirigushi swinging wildly here.
Ramazan Jainar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jainar jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hirigushi misses with a wild body shot. Jainar connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jainar defending well as Hirigushi loads up on a big left hand. A nice leg kick lands there from Jainar. Jainar is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jainar lands a jab to the head.
Hirigushi is rocked! Hirigushi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jainar connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hirigushi scrambles back to his feet. Hirigushi is still on wobbly legs! Can Jainar finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jainar throws a body kick that misses and Hirigushi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jainar lands a leg kick that knocks Hirigushi off balance momentarily. Jainar misses with a wild body shot. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hirigushi! But no joy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jainar lands a nice looking body shot.
Jainar loads up on a big right hand but Hirigushi slips the punch. Hirigushi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Hirigushi seems to have recovered his senses. Hirigushi throws a body shot but no joy. Jainar rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hirigushi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jainar thuds his right hand into Hirigushi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Jainar misses the jab. Jainar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hirigushi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jainar defending well as Hirigushi loads up on a big left hand. Hirigushi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hirigushi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A slow jab from Hirigushi misses its intended target. Hirigushi's corner calls for a 1-2. Hirigushi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jainar lands a leg kick that knocks Hirigushi off balance momentarily. Hirigushi thows a left - swing and a miss! Jainar is looking to counter the offense by Hirigushi and move into the clinch. Hirigushi throws a lazy right hand but Jainar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jainar lands a leg kick that knocks Hirigushi off balance momentarily. Jainar with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jainar misses with a right hand and Hirigushi counters with a left to the body. Jainar thuds his right hand into Hirigushi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jainar ducks under a wild hook from Hirigushi. Nice jab there from Hirigushi. Hirigushi connects with the punch.
Jainar is rocked! Jainar throws a lazy uppercut
and Hirigushi counters with a huge left! Jainar is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hirigushi isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Jainar from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hirigushi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kendo Hirigushi! Kendo Hirigushi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
