Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sivile Gonya (ranked 1075 p4p, 158 weight class) and Bung Popper (ranked 1699 p4p, 231 weight class). Bung Popper is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sivile Gonya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bung Popper!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Popper darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gonya tries for a takedown but Popper circles away easily
and Gonya takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Popper lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Gonya is rocked!
Popper takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Popper throws a leg kick but Gonya checks it.
Gonya misses with a wild body shot.
Gonya uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Popper has time to react.
Popper blocks a head kick by Gonya.
Popper doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Gonya takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gonya throws a predictable looking body shot
and Popper counters with a stiff right hand.
Oh Gonya is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gonya drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gonya seems to have got his legs back now.
Gonya tries to free his leg and advance position but Popper is retaining full guard.
Gonya has gone for a leg lock! Popper slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gonya's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonya has control of Popper's left arm, preventing Popper from doing any damage.
Gonya had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Popper defends it easily.
Gonya has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Popper is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gonya.
Popper wants to control but Gonya is keeping him busy.
Popper in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonya tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Popper trying to control the position but Gonya is working away.
You can see the frustration on Gonya's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Popper remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Popper wants to control but Gonya is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bung Popper dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gonya tries to bum rush Popper with a series of wild strikes but Popper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Popper lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Popper has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Gonya tries for a takedown but Popper circles away easily
enabling Popper to counter with a crisp jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gonya is defended easily by Popper.
Popper was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Gonya misses with a left hand
and Popper counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Gonya throws the left hand but Popper avoids the punch easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Popper. No joy for Gonya on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sivile Gonya. That's going to take a lot out of him.

enabling Popper to counter with a crisp jab.

Gonya misses with a body punch
and Popper counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
