Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matteo Boretti (ranked 190 p4p, 26 weight class) and Anthony Falcone (ranked 222 p4p, 30 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Boretti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ozzy Osbourne - Bark at the Moon. Falcone has chosen Goodfellas as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Anthony Falcone enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boretti lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

and Falcone cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Boretti throws out a loose jab but Falcone uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice side step and Falcone releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Falcone drops Boretti with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boretti looks back up at him and smiles so Falcone waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Falcone is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Boretti had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Falcone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boretti stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Falcone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boretti.
