Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caio Bottura (ranked 770 p4p, 96 weight class) and Nik Snow (ranked 1170 p4p, 136 weight class). Bottura comes to the cage accompanied by Face The Pain. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caio Bottura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nik Snow! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bottura throws a nice outside leg kick. Snow with a nice cross. Snow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like Bottura wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Snow feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bottura's calf. Snow jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bottura throws a head kick but Snow moves out of range.
Bottura takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Snow misses with a leg kick. As Snow looks to move away, Bottura throws a big counter combo but Snow just gets out of the way. Bottura does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Snow swings widly with a right hand
enabling Bottura to counter with a crisp jab. Snow fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bottura pulls guard effortlessly. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Snow tries to stand but Bottura is controlling from the bottom. Bottura has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Snow doesn't defend quickly enough and Bottura has managed to lock this one up! Can Snow escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bottura on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Caio Bottura! Caio Bottura decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
