Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jurgen Tetsuo (ranked 468 p4p, 69 weight class) and Aito Lager (ranked 1065 p4p, 146 weight class). Lager has chosen Army Of The Pharaohs - Seven as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jurgen Tetsuo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aito Lager!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Tetsuo.
Lager misses with a hook. Tetsuo ducked under it nicely.
Tetsuo attempts a counter takedown but Lager avoids it well and moves away.
Tetsuo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lager.
Lager keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tetsuo.
Lager throws a shot from downtown. Tetsuo moves away and avoids it.
Tetsuo walks into a straight right hand from Lager.
Lager throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Lager shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tetsuo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lager looks up at the clock and then as Tetsuo takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lager smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lager winds up and cracks Tetsuo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lager wants to take a breather but Tetsuo is having none of it.

Lager feints and as Tetsuo raises his hands in defense, Lager changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tetsuo is on top in guard.

Tetsuo wants to control from the top but Lager keeps moving.
Lager wants to sweep here but Tetsuo controlling him for the moment.
Lager is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tetsuo clobbers Lager with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tetsuo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lager tries to avoid it but Tetsuo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lager to the ground. Lager escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lager lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tetsuo throws a hook to the side of Lager's head but Lager sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Tetsuo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lager is fending him off so far but Tetsuo persists. Nope, Lager circles away and we're back to standing.

Tetsuo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lager tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tetsuo is in Lager's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lager pushes a forearm under Tetsuo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Tetsuo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Aito Lager!
A relieved looking Aito Lager thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
