Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 403 p4p, 56 weight class) and Jesse Point (ranked 340 p4p, 48 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by The Pretender. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morrison Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Point!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a body shot.
Lee throws a head kick but Point moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Point with a nice cross.
Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Point.
Point takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lee checks a low kick from Point.
Lee thows a leg kick but Point checks it
and Point cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Point throws a front kick aimed at Lee's knee but Lee avoids it well.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Point moves away.
Lee staying out of range there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Point. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Point moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.


It looks like Morrison Lee has been cut.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Point moves away.
A bone on bone clash there as Point blocks the leg kick.
Lee thuds a left hand into Point's body.
Point misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.
As Point backs away, Lee returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Point keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Point throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lee.
Morrison Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Point moved out of range nicely.
Point scores with a jab to the head.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Point.
Lee swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Point swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Point digs a good body shot into Lee's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Point throws a big shot that misses.

Point lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jesse Point is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lee is looking to wear down Point with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Point catches Lee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Lee throws a jab but it's blocked by Point.
Lee shoots for a takedown but Point saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Despite the aggression on Point's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Lee throws a jab when Point was well out of range.
A big right from Lee misses.
Point chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lee wants to control but Point is keeping him busy.
Lee tries to advance to mount but Point denies him.

Lee swings around for an armbar but Point sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lee's guard.
Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Point engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Point stands up and waves to Lee to follow him.

Point connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lee. Lee circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Point under the eye.
Point waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lee.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Point lands with a shot to the body.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lee shoots for a takedown but Point saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
