The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabbar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cubbedge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cubbedge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jabbar has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cubbedge has managed to get both his arms back between Jabbar's legs - danger averted.

Jabbar felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jabbar cracks Cubbedge with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
