The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortier misses with a shot to the body
and Oloishona counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Fortier dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Oloishona. That did some damage!
Fortier misses with an attempted mid kick.
A little jabbing left from Oloishona on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Fortier on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

It looks like Tonkei Oloishona has been cut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fortier. That's going to slow Oloishona down.

Oloishona feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fortiers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The fighters circle momentarily. Oloishona darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've been told by Fortier's head coaches at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Oloishona fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fortier manages to avoid it.

Fortier looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Fortier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oloishona has time to react.

Fortier throws the left hand but Oloishona avoids the punch easily.
Oloishona has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fortier.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oloishona steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oloishona crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fortier - the referee stops the clock and Oloishona gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fortier. Oloishona manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fortier is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Fortier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oloishona sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It seemed like Oloishona was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Oloishona is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Fortier doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Oloishona crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Oloishona's bad books for that mishap!
