Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samson Fortier (ranked 1067 p4p, 138 weight class) and Tonkei Oloishona (ranked 567 p4p, 79 weight class). Oloishona has chosen Keleya as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samson Fortier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tonkei Oloishona! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fortier misses with a shot to the body and Oloishona counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Fortier dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Oloishona. That did some damage! Fortier misses with an attempted mid kick.
A little jabbing left from Oloishona on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Fortier on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Fortier connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Tonkei Oloishona has been cut. A nice inside leg kick there by Fortier. That's going to slow Oloishona down. Fortier scores with a nice head shot. Oloishona feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fortiers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Fortier throws a leg kick and Oloishona counters with a nice uppercut. Oloishona misses with a wild body shot. Fortier feinted there with a counter leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters circle momentarily. Oloishona darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. We've been told by Fortier's head coaches at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fortier smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Oloishona jabs Fortier to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oloishona blocks a jab. Oloishona fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fortier manages to avoid it. Oloishona misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fortier.
Fortier looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Fortier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oloishona has time to react. Fortier scores with a push kick. Oloishona blocks a jab. Fortier scores with a nice strike. Fortier throws a quick inside leg kick. Fortier misses with a body shot.
A countering left hand to the body from Oloishona misses. Fortier throws the left hand but Oloishona avoids the punch easily. Oloishona has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fortier. Oloishona ducks under a wild hook from Fortier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oloishona checks a leg kick. Oloishona is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Oloishona is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Fortier rather than just go for the knockout. Fortier lands with a cross. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fortier fails to land with a series of punches.
Oloishona steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Oloishona crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fortier - the referee stops the clock and Oloishona gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fortier. Oloishona manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fortier is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Oloishona lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Fortier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oloishona sees it coming and avoids it easily. It seemed like Oloishona was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Fortier uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Oloishona. Fortier catches Oloishona with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Fortier throws a leg kick and Oloishona counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fortier just misses with a punch to the body.
Fortier connects with a right hand. Oloishona shakes it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fortier jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Fortier lands a jab.
Oloishona is rocked! Oloishona is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Fortier doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Oloishona crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Oloishona's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samson Fortier! After winning the bout, Samson Fortier thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
