Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Chernokov (ranked 682 p4p, 85 weight class) and Fiyero Lermontov (ranked 840 p4p, 104 weight class). Chernokov comes to the cage accompanied by Disaster strikes - Mushroom cloud. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chernokov swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Lermontov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Chernokov tries to close the distance and clinch but Lermontov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

As Lermontov tries to get set, Chernokov tries to push him back and clinch up but Lermontov manages to avoid the attempt.

Lermontov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chernokov on the side of the head.

Chernokov throws a shot from downtown. Lermontov moves away and avoids it.

A little jabbing left from Lermontov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Chernokov tries to bum rush Lermontov with a series of wild strikes but Lermontov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lermontov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lermontov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lermontov connects with a leg kick. Chernokov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Lermontov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Chernokov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Lermontov to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Chernokov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Lermontov pulls down on the head and he's put Chernokov to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fiyero Lermontov!
