Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Marques (ranked 5756 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meteor Blackhole (ranked 5235 p4p, 481 weight class). Marques comes to the cage accompanied by Loona - Bailando. Meteor Blackhole has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Meteor Blackhole!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marques tries to clinch
and Blackhole counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Marques!
Blackhole cracks Marques with a big right hand but Marques just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Marques wants to control but Blackhole postures up.
Blackhole is putting a hurting on Marques here, landing some big shots from side control.
Blackhole creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Blackhole in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Blackhole has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Blackhole cracks Marques with a big right hand but Marques just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Marques takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Blackhole looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

It looks like Blackhole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Marques is bucking up trying to escape but Blackhole cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Blackhole loads up with a big shot that hurts Marques! He's pulled Blackhole in close but Blackhole has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Marques survive? More strikes from Blackhole and Marques is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Meteor Blackhole!
After winning the bout, Meteor Blackhole thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
