Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Jasper (ranked 867 p4p, 98 weight class) and Sisu Sisu (ranked 660 p4p, 77 weight class). Sisu Sisu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasper takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sisu throws a shot to the body.

Jasper gets caught flat footed, as Sisu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sisu misses with a shot to the body
and Jasper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Jasper wants to control but Sisu postures up.
Sisu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jasper's shoulder. That is not cool.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sisu or perhaps it was just good defense by Jasper, which made it look bad.

Sisu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sisu is taking a breather. Jasper says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sisu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jasper quickly recovers to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sisu in particular looking to stall.

Let's hope that Sisu has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sisu throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jasper because Sisu loaded up on that one.
Sisu takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Jasper tries to hold on but Sisu postures up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jasper is trying to stand up.
Sisu thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sisu sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Sisu is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jasper can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Sisu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jasper avoids it really well and circles away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jasper. Sisu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jasper throws a hook but Sisu avoids it easily.
Jasper takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Sisu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Sisu shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jasper manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sisu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
