Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Victor Anders (ranked 3729 p4p, 195 weight class) and JoJo Diaz (ranked 2039 p4p, 128 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, JoJo Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anders throws the kick towards the body but Diaz avoids it.
Diaz now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Anders throws a sloppy head kick and Diaz moves out of range easily.
Anders fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Anders darts in looking for a takedown but Diaz gets double underhooks and turns Anders into the ropes.
Diaz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Diaz sizes up Anders with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Diaz throws a big shot that misses.
We've been hearing reports that Anders has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Anders swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Anders throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diaz appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Anders dives in and scores a takedown into Diaz's guard.
Anders scoring with some ground and pound.
Diaz pushes a forearm under Anders's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Anders is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
