Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Frankie Doms!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lynton Miller!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Doms.
A cross from Miller lands.

Miller looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Doms trying to hold on to Miller's head to control him but Miller postures up.
Miller is keen to just control but Doms is a slippery customer.
Doms gets full guard.
Miller working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Doms is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Doms looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Miller has picked Doms up and slammed him! Doms can't keep hold of the triangle and Miller manages to pass to side control!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Miller working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Miller is looking to take a break and control but Doms is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Miller is chipping away with strikes.

Doms takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Doms has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Doms manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Miller is thwarting Doms's attempts to control the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Doms tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg.

Miller wants to pass to mount but Doms is defending the position.

Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.


Doms is rocked!
Doms won't allow Miller to pass to mount.
Oh Doms is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miller drops an elbow to the side of Doms's head.
Doms is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Miller lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Doms on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Doms trying to get back to full guard but Miller takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Miller unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Doms wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Miller celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lynton Miller!
Post fight, Lynton Miller stared into the camera and said 'Good fight Frankie! It feels good to beat a legit fighter and prove myself in this cage.
