Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Manny Puno (ranked 200 p4p, 27 weight class) and Cayden Cadman (ranked 239 p4p, 34 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Cadman enables Puno to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cadman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Oh Puno is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cadman throws a series of punches but Puno avoids them all with ease.

Puno bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cadman 's head backwards.
Cadman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Cadman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cadman there as he acknowledges the shot.

Puno catches Cadman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Cadman lands a big uppercut and Puno crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Puno looks OK. Cadman waves Puno back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Let's hope that Cadman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Manny Puno.
I think Cadman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
