Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Robinson (ranked 4424 p4p, 383 weight class) and Luss Rittle (ranked 6214 p4p, 439 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Robinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luss Rittle!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Rittle.

Robinson has managed to clinch.
Robinson prevents Rittle from breaking the clinch.
Rittle looking to stall.
Rittle will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Robinson up against the cage.
Our sources have told us that Robinson has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Robinson lands with a right to the head.
Rittle's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Rittle is looking for a takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rittle is looking to break free of the clinch but Robinson has double underhooks.
Robinson tries to land knees in the clinch but Rittle avoids the damage to the body.

Robinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Robinson throws the kick towards the body but Rittle avoids it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rittle enables Robinson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rittle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Robinson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rittle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Robinson has Rittle in his guard.

Robinson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Robinson tries to get out of the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Robinson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rittle defends it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Alan Robinson will probably get the nod.

Rittle keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Robinson's efforts to push away.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Robinson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rittle counters with a left and a right that stings Robinson.
Rittle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rittle shoots in for a double leg but Robinson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Robinson tries a head kick but it misses.
Robinson doesn't manage to clinch there - Rittle circles away.

Robinson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rittle quickly recovers to half guard.
Rittle works his way to full guard. Good work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Luss Rittle will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Robinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Rittle throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robinson's waist but Robinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rittle off to one side.

Rittle let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Robinson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rittle has picked Robinson up and slammed him! Robinson can't keep hold of the triangle and Rittle manages to pass to side control!

Rittle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robinson keeps working.
Robinson throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Luss Rittle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rittle has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
