Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Filho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolen Spliffs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spliffs has chosen Ice Cube - Smoke Some Weed as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliffs scores with a decent looking hook.
Nice uppercut there from Spliffs.
Filho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Spliffs manages to avoid it.
Spliffs keeps the fight on the outside.
Spliffs ducks under a wild hook from Filho.
Horrible takedown by Filho or perhaps it was just good defense by Spliffs which made him look bad.
Filho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spliffs tries to avoid it but Filho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spliffs to the ground. Spliffs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Filho ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Spliffs moves away.
Spliffs throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Spliffs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Filho.
Filho takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Filho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spliffs pinned against the cage. Spliffs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Spliffs scores with a hook to the body. Filho takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Spliffs tries to bum rush Filho with a series of wild strikes but Filho uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Filho. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Spliffs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Filho.

Spliffs lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Filho doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Spliffs lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Filho sprawling to the canvas. Spliffs follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Filho hang on?

It looks like Paulo Filho has been cut.
Filho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spliffs wants to stand up but Filho has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Filho pulls Spliffs in close to his closed guard and prevents Spliffs from doing any damage or advancing position.
Spliffs would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Filho throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Filho looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spliffs is fending him off so far but Filho persists. Nope, Spliffs circles away and we're back to standing.
