Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocco Marciano (ranked 264 p4p, 36 weight class) and Expendable Crewman V (ranked 548 p4p, 65 weight class). Marciano's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, a shirt that reads, 'Giant Killer'. Crewman V is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Star Trek. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano needs to keep his hands up - Crewman V had a free shot at his head there.
Marciano cracks Crewman V with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Marciano lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Marciano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crewman V looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A quick step to the side and Marciano tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

The crowd cheers as Marciano lands an impressive looking overhand right. Crewman V doesn't seem phased though.

and Marciano counters with a nice low kick that buckles Crewman V's knee momentarily.

Expendable Crewman V seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marciano seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Crewman V is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marciano.

Crewman V might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Marciano here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
