Originally from Ghana, Byron moved to the United States at the age of 14 to live with his estranged father. His father, a one-time national basketball champion, pushed Byron into various sports, but it was mixed martial arts that truly captivated him. Byron, despite being a late bloomer, quickly rose through the ranks, eventually earning a scholarship to a prestigious MMA academy. After graduating, he chose to turn pro, intent on making a name for himself. |
