The MMA Tycoon community has went away from the usual voting for the year awards, instead they have replaced that with an award committee this year. After a lengthy process, the committee has made a decision regarding the best in each category and these are the awards our fighter/managers have won:
205lbs Fighter of the Year - Joosep Lohmus (Billy Arseworth)
265lbs+ Fighter of the Year - Roar Horse (Bear Stevenson)
Submission of the Year - Farboleous Ricard vs Hans Hermann Hoppe (Carlos Castenada)
Manager of the Year - Bwang Jong Sr
Fight of the Year - Thomas Bolleke vs Latrobe Arundel (Alika Webb & Action Jackson)
Congratulations to all our winners!
Reminder: For all winners of Fighter of the year, you receive an extra 25 points in your fighters all time ranking points, which goes towards your Hall Of Fame eligibility. For Divisional winners, you receive 15 points.

Date: 06 March 2021
Arena: Hyashi’s Lounge
Merchandise Partner: The Forge
Main Event: Touney Jack v Seppo Ilmarinen
The Main Event of the evening comprises of Touney Jack Vs Seppo Ilmarinen. Touney is based out of Los Angeles, currently training in New York in anticipation of this fight. Our analysts have review his previous fights and came to a conclusion that he holds a very solid chin which will be difficult to get through for the younger Ilmarinen. Both fighters are very tall and have big reach as a result, for Ilmarinen, who appears to be a ground based fighter, the height might not play to his advantage in this fight. Ilmarinen is going up against a fighter who has won 6 out of his last 7 fights with a knock down cont... |

Episode IV: Fireproof
Thursday March 4th – 1:36PM
In a poorly lit backroom of a small, two-bedroom apartment in the Showboat region of Las Vegas, a balding middle-aged man is doing what he does best; sitting in front of the television watching his shows. Tonight is Gold Rush and yeah they may be re-runs, but he watches for the same reason hundreds of thousands of folks migrated to the Klondike to begin with. The rush. Who knows where the next big goldfield was? Would the next pan reveal the huge placer deposit? And if he was being honest with himself, wasn’t part of the interest seeing the disappointment in these idiot’s f cont... |

Darsin Bleak, known around the gym as the Sandman, is making his presence felt in the MMA world. An outstanding young grappler who fights with a tenacity unrivaled by his peers. A relative unknown, having always been in the shadows of his brother Wulfgang, Bleak made a name for himself in Wolfpack Fighting Alliance. He went 4-0 in his first 4 fights, all via submission, and 2 of which earning an of the night award. This earned him a shot at the title, and he did not disappoint.
On November 13th, the undefeated Bleak would step into the cage with the undefeated champion who would be defending his belt for the first time since earning it with a victory over now retired Jurney Man. After dominating the first round, completely smothering Estili, Bleak showed his class in the 2nd round. As stoners around the world were sparking their bowls, 4:20 into the 2nd round, Bleak handed Estili his first loss and became WPFA Lightweight Champion of the world.

When we last reported to you, Dillon Hardman was introduced as the black sheep, the outcast, the bad boy. Twin brother of the goody two-shoes Wesley Hardman. In their first professional fight, they fought each other in a 3 minute sparring match. Wesley got the best of the exchange according to the judges, but we saw the granite chin that Dillon has and we may finally get to see that chin in action in the coming weeks as the LOM tournament advances along and seeding is sorted.
While Wesley has already had another fight in the cage (another decision), his brother Dillon has been hitting the gym hard. "He's like a sponge, that one is." - Patrick Harmartia. "He's a physical specimen, that's for sure. He's much more quick and agile than most guys at his level. He is much stronger than he looks. And he uses that physique to enhance his skills." - Leon Salazar.
When speaking to his manager, J. W. Hardman, who doubles as his uncle in his o cont...

Hello again Sucker Punch fans! It’s been another crazy week around casa de Rumpler with work seeming to be determined to require me to actually earn a paycheck! Damn, the nerve! Haha. Anyways, gonna try to run through a quick commentary and takeaways from SPPS 45 here with Donkey taking over for me while I take care of work duties and then later this evening we’ll step into a look ahead at SPPS 46 which is coming at us tonight!
With not one but two title fights included this one was crazy full of action and we had a great event rating come out of it! As I mentioned in the preview, we’re close to moving back to the Bondi Outdoor Arena in Sydney come April, so we’ll be ramping up the numbers of those with us live in attendance to closer to 6,000 once we do that! That’s exciting and will add even more energy into the fights!
It’s time for a word about our s cont... |
