"Man, I just woke up and am now ready to release the gate figures and results from last night's event" Jack Walian, the holmgang CEO, swashbuckler, handwrapswrapper, spit bucket holder and lighting technician stated in a press conference earlier today.
When told it was Wednesday, NOT Tuesday, the visible still hungover Walian excused himself with having taken one too many of the new local favorite holmgang cocktail.
When pressed on the contents of this new official Holmgang drink Walian became unspecific and vague, but rumors say that it contains a liberally applied amount of vodka, and a highly flammable, yet unknown Russian liquid, some unnamed sources claim that this liquid was acquired through some dodgy Russian military contacts. And it has to be mentioned that the explosions heard after the event, are being attributed to this drink being dropped to the floor by unconfirmed reports.
During the short press brief Walian stated that "The PR department has every reason to be happy with themselves" not mentioning the fact that he is the one running the PR department of course, that would be tacky.
That being said he does have a cont...

Mark Makovsky here, I’m going to be writing previews/reviews for CBC. Hope you guys like my work, and this entertains us all.
On November 28th, CBC held an incredible event that had locals buzzing. 10 Fight, 10 Finishes. In the Co-Main event we had James Te Huna knocking out Adama Sailo in 32 seconds with a powerful, precise spinning back fist . The main event Dylon rocked Blake early and took it to him once he smelt blood. The fight ended in 26 seconds via TKO. Overall, one of the more entertaining events I’ve seen and it looks like nothing but great things ahead.
Now on to CBC 3 – Heavyweight Grand Prix Quarter Finals.
Jose Lothario(0-1) vs Clean Salmon(2-0)
Both of these fighters are pretty evenly matched standing. Lothario drew a tough match up for round 1. We have an 18 year old vs a 25 year old. I’m predicting that Salmon will out class him with his physical attributes and possibly his wrestling.Prediction – Sal cont... |

Congratulations to all the fighters who participated in this debut event for KOTC. Even if you lost you still were able to showcase your talents and will likely have many more fights with this organization...or you just sucked and your manager will cut your ass, drink himself silly for a week, and replace you with a better fighter. Either way this card opened up and finished with an absolute bang. Lets jump right on in to the fights!
Main Card:
Buster Cherry (1-0-0) def. BJ "The Prodigy" Penn (0-6-0)
Welter Weight
I don't suppose I could have called this fight any better stylistically. Buster wanted it on the ground, got it there, cut Penn and then proceeded to finish him off in the first round. What an absolutely great way to start the card! Congrats to Buster on his first professional win.
Renen "Barao" Pagado (1-0-0) def. Spar Boxing (1-4-0)
Heavy Weight
This fight was about as basic as it gets. At cont... |

Here we go! The official Galaxy FC Premiere is on! From The Underground – London, sponsored by Heroic Combat Gear, this is the debut of a great enterprise and I hope you all can enjoy it!
Reginald Francis Colon vs Terry Picket
A battle of two young bantamweights. Francis Colon is a well rounded fighter while Picket is a grappler with a BJJ purple belt. Both guys have never won in the MMA Tycoon so what should they do? Francis Colon has to keep the fight standing and picket has to drag it to the floor. On big obstacle for Colon is that Picket is 25 cm taller than him. Will that be a problem? Let’s find out!
Doug ‘’The Glaswegian Nightmare’’ McDonald vs Keiji Kawada
McDonald is a well rounded fighter with 1 loss in his career. He is going to face Kawada, a grappler making his first appearance in the ring. As the first fight, McDonald has to keep the fight standing while Kawada must drag it to the mat. Who will get his first victory and be one step close to the featherweight title fight?

BFT - 158 Shields vs Hans III Review
Light Heavyweight - "Crazyhorse" Alex James submitted Tap Out with strikes at 1:39 in round 1.
What a way to start off the card. Tap Out dives in and takes things down to the ground quickly. The roll around breifly until James jumps up and grabs a takedown directly into mount. James uses this position to land some fantastic ground and pound until the ref jumps in and stops them.
Welterweight - Jan "Bleeder" Den Knieschijf Unanimous Decisions "Nom" Nom Nomm.
The fight starts off and right away Nomm cuts Jan with a nice combo. The two oblige to swinging until Den Knieschijf brings things into the clinch. From there Jan went on a rampage. He was destructive. Nomm was hurting. The second round picked up and and Jan used all the momentum from the last round to dominate this round as well. Once he got the clinch he just was throwing his knees and elbows like... well like any man would throw them. But he was striking like a swarm of bees: Fast and Furious. The final round looked similar. Nomm knew he was behind on the cards, and he was throwing to finish. He just wasn't able to do enough to finish things and Jan Den Knieschijf walked away with the well earned decision.
Lightweight - Victor Bonifacio Unanimous Decisions "The Natural Born Killer" Jason Pelaez.
