The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Casacci walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Casacci moves into the clinch. Casacci stops a takedown attempt from Beast.
Come on Casacci - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Beast won't allow Casacci to get back to his feet. Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but Casacci is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beast won't allow Casacci to get back to his feet. Beast drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Casacci dives on top into guard.

Casacci must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Casacci tries to stand but Beast is controlling from the bottom. Beast controls Casacci momentarily but Casacci frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Casacci takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parke lands a nice looking kick to the body. Nikolaev takes a step back to recover. Parke moves into range and clinches up with Nikolaev. A short uppercut from Parke. Nikolaev is trying to pull guard but Parke has him pressed against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Parke.
Parke gets through Nikolaev's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Nikolaev changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Parke fights it off and pushes away nicely.

No, Parke has managed to get both his arms back between Nikolaev's legs - danger averted. Parke is in close to Nikolaev's body, working some short punches and elbows. Parke working some strikes from top position. Parke trying to control the position from guard on top but Nikolaev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nikolaev not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Parke trying to control but Nikolaev is working from the bottom.

Parke uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nikolaev. Parke blocks a jab. Nikolaev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parke was well out of range. Poor timing from Nikolaev. Nikolaev cracks Parke with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Parke lands with an uppercut that bounces Nikolaev off the cage and back into range. Nikolaev avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Norman Parke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parke throws a front kick that sends Nikolaev stumbling back into the cage. Nikolaev works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Parke scores with a jab. Nikolaev darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Parke is not content to let Nikolaev control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A swing and a miss from Nikolaev. Nikolaev waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Parke. Parke steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Nikolaev. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Parke, as that shot connected.
Parke keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nikolaev. Parke scores with a jab. Nikolaev acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Horrible takedown attempt by Nikolaev or perhaps it was just good defense by Parke, which made it look bad. Parke tries a quick counter leg kick but Nikolaev is wise to it.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Volya Nikolaev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nikolaev throws a big right hand that misses. Nikolaev wants to control from the top but Parke keeps moving. Parke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nikolaev is looking for a sweep. Parke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nikolaev looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Parke thows a huge punch but Nikolaev dodges it nicely.

Nikolaev is not content to let Parke control the position. Nikolaev is looking to regain half guard here but Parke keeps moving and retains side control. Parke working the body and head with strikes. Nikolaev is trying to control Parke's posture but Parke avoids it. Parke is chipping away with strikes.

Nikolaev is rocked! Nikolaev is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Parke off and has taken his back! Oh Nikolaev is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Nikolaev is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Parke defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Nikolaev seems to have got his legs back now. Parke can't escape the position.

Parke lands a leg kick that knocks Nikolaev off balance momentarily. Norman Parke seems to be getting the better of the standup. Parke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nikolaev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nikolaev moves into the clinch. Nikolaev has clasped his hands together around Parke's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Parke is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Parke keeps trying to improve his position. Parke gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nikolaev seems to be looking for submissions.

Nikolaev lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Parke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Parke lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Nikolaev is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Parke defends well.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Volya Nikolaev. I think Parke has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Harris scrambles back to his feet. Boulami lands a glancing blow to the side of Harris's head. Harris throws a low kick but Boulami avoids it. Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Boulami. Boulami throws a body shot but no joy. Boulami smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Boulami throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Boulami takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
