22 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tatsuya Kawajiri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
33 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sub Norris! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Kawajiri. Kawajiri listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Norris throws a body shot but no joy. Kawajiri throws an off balance right hand
and Norris counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kawajiri thinking. Norris has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Norris on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Nice defenses there by Kawajiri. Kawajiri works Norris's body with a nice hook. Kawajiri displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Norris throws out the jab. Wooooo! Kawajiri tried to counter with a leg kick but Norris avoided it. Norris bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kawajiri's head. Norris shoots for a takedown but Kawajiri saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kawajiri cracks Norris with an open hand slap.

Norris takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A swing and a miss from Norris. Kawajiri went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Norris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kawajiri moves away. Kawajiri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Norris fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kawajiri to the ground. Norris is now in Kawajiri's guard. Kawajiri pushes Norris off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A bone on bone clash there as Kawajiri blocks the leg kick.

Norris takes a body punch but keeps moving. Norris staying out of range there. Norris connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kawajiri throws out a loose jab but Norris uses good head movement to avoid it. Norris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kawajiri throwing a counter right hand but Norris manages to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Petrycki throws a shot from downtown. Lovric moves away and avoids it. Petrycki gets caught napping as Lovric dives in and scores a takedown. Petrycki manages to retain guard. Petrycki throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Lovric wants to control from the top but Petrycki keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petrycki has his hands on Lovric's head, controlling the position. Petrycki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deegan tries to clinch up. Deegan tries for a takedown but Davis circles away easily and Davis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jab by Davis. Davis gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Deegan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now. Deegan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Deegan trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Deegan postures up in Davis's guard and throws a big left but Davis blocks it. Deegan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Davis dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Deegan chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Davis can pounce on him.

Davis lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Deegan falls backwards - clearly groggy! Davis dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

We've been hearing that De Villefort has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Bomb is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bomb is not content to let De Villefort control the position. Bomb tries to get to full guard but De Villefort has control of the leg. De Villefort keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. De Villefort prevents Bomb from standing back up.

De Villefort swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bomb wants to clinch and De Villefort counters with a huge left! Bomb is in big trouble! He's backing up but De Villefort isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Bomb from any more damage. A dominating finish by De Villefort!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Douglas. It looked like Douglas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Escobar has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Douglas cracks the inside of Escobar's front leg. Douglas throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Pablo Escobar has been cut. Escobar shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Douglas is trying to defend but Escobar finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Escobar missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Escobar wants to free his trapped foot but Douglas is holding on for dear life with his legs. Escobar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Escobar dominating with strikes here. Escobar is rocked! Douglas scores with a spinning back kick! Douglas throws a nice inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Escobar looks to score with a jab to the body but Douglas is just out of range. Douglas is looking to counter punch. Jack Douglas is winning the standup battle so far. A cross from Douglas lands. Escobar is still on wobbly legs! Can Douglas finish him? Douglas jabs Escobar to the body, keeping him at a distance. Escobar is breathing heavily. Douglas lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Escobar up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Douglas from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Escobar's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Baba was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gracie stops Baba from standing up. Baba working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gracie. Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baba swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gracie throws a big elbow that misses. Gracie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Baba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Baba there as he acknowledges the shot. Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Baba on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gracie feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Baba's calf. Baba takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. Gracie feints the counter takedown. Baba throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it. Gracie's coach down at Scotty's Yard was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gracie's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Nice uppercut there from Baba. Gracie tries to clinch but Baba is having none of it. Gracie throws a hook but Baba blocks it. Gracie throws a body shot but no joy. Baba lands a lovely overhand right. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donk. Baba catches Gracie right on the button with a cross.

Duffy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Minor scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Duffy to see if he's OK. Duffy manages to get back to half guard. Duffy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Minor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Duffy is not content to let Minor control the position. Minor is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Duffy reverses the position - he's now on top in Minor's guard. Duffy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Pablo Escobar was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. In defeat, Roman Sionis stepped up to the mic, saying 'My Achilles heel. My kryptonite. Damn you Heart Breaker!'.
