The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redman moves away from the strike by Yaj. Yaj takes a swing at Redman's ribcage but misses. A slow jab from Yaj misses its intended target. Redman lands a slapping body shot.
Danga de danga de dang - Yaj scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like JT Redman has been cut. Redman scores with a jab to the body. Redman throws a right and a left that Yaj avoids nicely. Yaj misses with a straight left. Redman fails to land with a series of punches.
A combination from Redman does no damage. Redman connects with a high kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Redman jabs Yaj to the body, keeping him at a distance. Redman misses with a left hand and Yaj cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Yaj looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Redman drops Yaj with a naaaaasty hook - Yaj is in real trouble here! Redman dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). JT Redman! After the fight, JT Redman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guns displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Halo throws out the jab. Halo checks a low kick from Guns. Guns takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Guns tries a head kick but it misses.

Guns throws a sloppy head kick and Halo moves out of range easily. Michael Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Halo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Halo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Guns steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guns drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Halo cracks Guns with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Halo misses the shot to the body. Guns is trying to counter with his kicks. Halo avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Guns misses with a low kick.

Halo misses with an uppercut. Guns throws a leg kick that is checked and Halo counters with a two punch combo. Guns throws a head kick that misses. Halo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Halo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Guns manages to avoid it. Guns misses with a low kick. Halo takes a kick to the side of the head. Guns keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Guns ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Guns sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Halo to the ground! Guns dives into full mount looking to finish!
Halo is rocked! Halo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Guns tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Oh Halo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Guns unloads with some shots from mount but Halo bucks and avoids them well.

Guns mounts Halo! Really nice guard pass there! Guns wants to take his opponent's back but Halo doesn't allow it. Halo seems to have got his legs back now. Guns is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Halo is in real trouble.

Guns is persistently looking for the submission but Halo is defending it well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Guns misses with an elbow to the head. Guns has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Guns has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Guns controls the action. Guns has the hooks in. Halo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Guns not allowing Halo to control his hands. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guns is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Halo fires out a quick counter leg kick but Guns just manages to avoid it. Guns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Halo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Guns. Guns changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Guns throws a head kick but Halo moves out of range.
Halo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Guns moves out of range as Halo strikes. Guns scores with a nice right hand.

Halo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guns moves away. Halo misses with a straight right. Guns lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Guns swats him away and circles back towards the center. Guns is looking to slow Halo down with leg kicks. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A decent looking body kick lands there for Guns. Halo misses with a looping right. A head kick misses from Guns. It looked like Halo was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Guns. Halo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Guns. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Guns scoring well with a low kick there.
Halo wants to slow Guns down by chopping away at his legs. Guns lands with a kick to the temple. Halo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Halo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Guns can pounce on him.

Guns moves away from the strike by Halo. Guns lands a brutal head kick. Halo looks out on his feet and Guns throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ventura is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Force pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ventura lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Force backwards. Ventura scores with a nice hook to the head. Force's coach down at Cozad MMA Montreal was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Force's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Force lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ventura lands a shoulder strike. Force just leaning against Ventura, taking a breather. Force pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ventura misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ventura wants to clinch up but Force keeps it at a distance. Ventura moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Force connects with a crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fight stays on the outside here - Ventura looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ventura connects with a body shot that sends Force's belly button to the back. Force throws a hook but Ventura blocks it. Force ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Force is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ventura with a body shot. Mac Force is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice cross by Force. Force lands a left and a right that send Ventura crashing to the mat, dazed. Force thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ventura is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Ventura walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Force! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mac Force! Mac Force bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.

Nice defenses there by Pietrzak. Pietrzak lands a right hook to the body.

Pietrzak throws a combination. Koski tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Pietrzak throws a body kick that misses. Pietrzak looks to land a left hand but Koski moved out of range nicely. Pietrzak slaps away a takedown attempt from Koski, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Koski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koski takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Pietrzak throws the left hand but Koski avoids the punch easily. Koski takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Koski lands with a kick to the temple. Pietrzak shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Koski misses with a looping right. Pietrzak lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Pietrzak scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koski is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Pietrzak lands a leg kick that knocks Koski off balance momentarily. A bone on bone clash there as Koski blocks the leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koski checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Pietrzak misses with a straight left. Pietrzak misses with a hook. Koski drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pietrzak sprawls and moves away. Koski cracks Pietrzak with a right hand to the side of the head. Pietrzak scores with a decent looking hook. Pietrzak throws a hook but Koski avoids it easily. Koski takes one to the side of the head.
Koski throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pietrzak misses with a looping right. Pietrzak takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Koski shoots in looking for a takedown but Pietrzak manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Koski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Koski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pietrzak as he jumps to the side.
And that's the end of the fight! Bartek Pietrzak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pietrzak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Venger scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Salty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Venger manages to avoid it. Venger misses with a jab, cross combination.
Venger misses with an uppercut. Salty is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Venger throwing a counter right hand but Salty manages to avoid it. Salty looks to score with a jab to the body but Venger is just out of range. Venger misses with an uppercut. Salty saw that one coming. Salty is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Venger staying out of range there. Salty pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Venger cracks Salty with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Elmo Salty has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Venger throws a low kick but Salty avoids it. Venger throws a nice inside leg kick. Venger seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Venger takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Venger throws a series of punches but Salty avoids them all with ease. A looping hook to the body misses from Salty. Venger does a little dance to reset his feet.

Venger misses with a low kick. Venger looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. A little jabbing left from Salty on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. and Salty counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Venger has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Salty. Salty throws a looping overhand right but Venger ducks down to avoid it. Salty loads up on a big right hand but Venger slips the punch. It looked like Venger wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Venger. That's going to slow Salty down. Venger blocks a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Salty moves out of range of the body kick. Salty with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Venger to score with a decent uppercut. Salty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Salty misses with an uppercut. Venger drops his hands momentarily and Salty takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Salty gets in close and instigates a clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Venger. Venger lands an uppercut. Salty blocking some punches.

Venger does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Salty throws a fast counter high kick but Venger manages to duck under it in time. Venger closes the distance and clinches. Venger has a couple of punches blocked by Salty.
Salty takes a shot to the head. Salty tries to throw a body punch but Venger avoids it by throwing Salty back against the cage. Venger throws an elbow but it misses.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Venger will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Elmo Salty's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Venger. Salty throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Venger. Venger cracks Salty with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Venger has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Salty to stand back up!
Salty is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Salty walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Venger! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vladimir Venger! Vladimir Venger really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellbent logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

That has opened up Frank Garfunkel's cut even more. Karol Cropp overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Garfunkel tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Cropp presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Garfunkel keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
