10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brady Burns! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molovgomedov misses with an uppercut. Burns lands a really nice looking cross but Molovgomedov seems unphased.
Nice cross by Burns. Molovgomedov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Burns moves away. It seemed like Burns was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Burns ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Molovgomedov moves away. That kick from Burns tenderised Molovgomedov's leg. Molovgomedov is trying to keep his angry face on. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Burns avoids the head kick by Molovgomedov.

Molovgomedov takes a step backwards and waves Burns back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solo blocks a leg kick. An inside leg kick from Solo misses. Solo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Solo slips under a jab. Danky will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Danky is looking to chop away at Solo's legs. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Danky has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Danky throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Solo on the side of the head. A slapping leg kick lands for Solo.
Solo walks into a left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danky throws a body kick that misses. Danky lands a nice hook to Solo's body. Solo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Danky misses with a hook. Solo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Thunder MMA in the buildup to the fight. Donk. and Danky counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters are working up against the cage. Solo manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Solo pushes Danky back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Solo slows down the pace here.

Danky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Danky swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Solo counters with a stiff right hand.
Danky is rocked! Solo misses with an uppercut. Danky saw that one coming. Danky bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Solo's head backwards. Solo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Danky checks it well. Danky tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Solo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Danky is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Solo's half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Danky winds up and cracks Solo with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Danky stops Solo from getting back to his feet.

Danky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Solo as he jumps to the side. A quick step to the side and Solo tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Danky digs a good hook to Solo's body.
Danky stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Solo gets off balance looking for a body kick and Danky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Solo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Danky misses with a takedown attempt and Solo counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Danky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Danky scores with a hook. Danky wants to land a leg kick but Solo is out of range. Solo feinted there with a counter leg kick. Solo looks to land a body kick but Danky moved away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Danky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Solo sprawls well initially but Danky persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Solo has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Danky is on him like a limpet, forcing Solo back against the cage. Solo struggles to land a body shot inside as Danky controls his hands.
Danky has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Danky tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Solo wants to stall.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Danky is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Solo can't fight it off and eventually Danky manages to take the fight to the floor. Solo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Danky scoring with some ground and pound. Danky prevents Solo from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Danky works a leg free and moves into half guard. Danky lands with a punch from half guard. Still in half guard, Danky seems content to control. Danky tries to pass the half guard into mount. Solo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Solo makes his way to full guard, as Danky worked for a kimura.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Danky postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Danky throwing strikes but missing. Solo is looking to stand up but Danky isn't so interested in that idea. Solo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Danky stands up over Solo, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Danky tries to free his leg and advance position but Solo is retaining full guard. Danky scoring with punches to the head and body. Danky throwing strikes but missing. Danky won't allow Solo to get back to his feet. Solo has momentary wrist control but Danky slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dom Danky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Danky changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Solo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Solo throws Danky to one side and escapes! Danky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Solo was well out of range. Poor timing from Danky. Danky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Solo moves away. Danky misses with the body kick and Solo counters with a nice body kick. Danky dives in and scores a takedown into Solo's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Danky is working Solo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Danky in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Solo wants to get back to his feet but Danky is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Danky content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Solo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Danky off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Danky closes the distance and clinches up with Solo, looking for a takedown. Danky pushes Solo against the cage but Solo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Roderick Solo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Danky takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Solo slips a jab and a cross from Danky.
Danky throws out a leg kick but Solo moves out of range and Danky only half commits. Solo takes one to the chin there. Danky shoots for a double leg takedown but Solo sprawls well. He's pushed Danky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nice sprawl there from Solo as Danky shoots in. Roderick Solo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Danky. Solo misses with a straight left. Danky stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Solo. Danky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Solo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Solo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Danky misses the jab. Solo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Danky stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Roderick Solo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dom Danky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danky gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Solo. Danky shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Solo as he avoids it easily. Danky fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Danky's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Solo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Danky scrambles back to his feet. Solo throws a leg kick and Danky counters with a nice low kick that buckles Solo's knee momentarily. Danky throws a leg kick and Solo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Danky is still on wobbly legs! Can Solo finish him? Danky scores with a jab. Solo throws the left hand but Danky avoids the punch easily. Danky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Solo can pounce on him.

Danky thows a leg kick but Solo checks it and Solo counters with a crisp right hand that drops Danky! Solo lets Danky back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Solo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Danky manages to avoid it. Danky lands a head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Danky will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Solo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Danky looks up at the clock. Bad move! Solo lands a right hand from hell, dropping Danky. Solo pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Lamont Hawkins. Well Hawkins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
