10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andre Soares! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Modesto slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Soares darts in trying to clinch and Modesto counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Modesto closes the distance and clinches. Modesto misses with a body punch.
Modesto lands a hook that snaps the head of Soares backwards. Soares is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Modesto can't fight it off and eventually Soares manages to take the fight to the floor. Modesto looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Soares won't allow Modesto to sweep him here. Soares controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Soares preventing the sweep. Soares controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Modesto wants to stand and escape but Soares is having none of it. Modesto controlling the position. Soares won't allow Modesto to sweep him here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Modesto keeps the fight on the outside. Carlos Francisco Modesto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Soares drives through and clinches with Modesto against the cage.
Modesto makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Modesto struggles to land a body shot inside as Soares controls his hands.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soares blocks a body shot from Modesto. Soares throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Modestos head. A nice right hand lands inside from Soares.
Modesto is rocked! Soares looking to score a takedown. He gets a body lock and scores a very heavy trip takedown. That's knocked the wind out of Modesto! Soares lands strikes from the mount and the ref steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Andre Soares! A less than humble Andre Soares misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Ware lands a body shot.
Ware feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rush sprawling to the canvas! Rush rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ware finish him?!
It looks like Kevin Rush has been cut. Marcus Ware seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ware comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Rush gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Ware points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Rush wakes up just in time to hear Ware thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marcus Ware! Marcus Ware really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Aspire Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

It looks like Adam Baranowski has been cut. Jiang connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jiang rushes Baranowski and presses him up against the cage. Jiang misses with a knee to the head. Baranowski pulls guard. Jiang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Baranowski is trying to control the position but Jiang postures up. Jiang works a leg free and moves into half guard. Jiang is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Baranowski has managed to free his arm - good work. Baranowski won't allow Jiang to pass to mount. Jiang stalling. Jiang wants to control but Baranowski is keeping him busy.

Will he be able to recover?!! Jiang digs a good hook to Baranowski's body.

It looked like Baranowski wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nice takedown defense from Jiang. No joy for Baranowski on that attempt. Jiang lands a big uppercut and Baranowski crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Baranowski looks OK. Jiang waves Baranowski back to his feet! Jiang flashes Baranowski a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Baranowski's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Baranowski crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Jiang punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rackham does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Rackham rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Chula counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Jack Rackham has been cut. Rackham tries to clinch but Chula moves away and Chula counters with a lovely straight right hand! Chula lands a jab to Rackham's midsection. Good work by Chula as he checks the leg kick. Rackham gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Chula lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Rackham or not. Chula lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Rackham lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Chula tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rackham is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chula. Chula throws a quick counter kick to the body but Rackham avoids it. Chula lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Kristian takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McGee misses with an uppercut. Kristian saw that one coming. Kristian throws out a token jab with nothing on it. McGee fires out a quick counter leg kick but Kristian just manages to avoid it. McGee throws a push kick but Kristian slaps the foot to one side. Kristian is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Kristian pivots, looking for a leg kick but McGee is out of range and Kristian settles back down. McGee tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kristian is able to avoid easily. McGee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kristian. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kristian lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McGee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McGee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A counter left hand to the body from McGee misses its target. Kristian moves out of range of the body kick. A nice inside leg kick there by McGee. That's going to slow Kristian down. Michael Kristian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kristian takes one to the chin there. McGee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kristian does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. McGee circles away from the clinch attempt.
